Some thoughts are too funny to explain.
Some are too specific.
Some are true, but saying them out loud would make the room awkward.
So we put them on T-shirts.
UNQUOTEED is oversized streetwear built around self-expression — the kind that lets your clothes say something before you have to.
IT STARTED WITH A COLLEGE PROJECT.
THEN IT STARTED FEELING TOO REAL TO STOP.
UNQUOTEED began through BYOB — a college space designed to let students test ideas before fully jumping into business.
At first, the requirement was simple: build a brand.
But we were not interested in making just another project, another presentation, or another T-shirt with a random graphic placed in the middle because it “looked cool.”
We wanted to create something people would actually wear because it felt familiar.
Something that sounded like a saved note.
A message you typed and deleted.
A thought you would send to your closest friend, but probably not say in public.
That is where UNQUOTEED came from.
WHY “UNQUOTEED”?
A quote is a thought, a line, a feeling — something worth putting into words.
But the best thoughts are not always polished enough to be quoted.
They are awkward. Funny. Honest. Slightly embarrassing.
Sometimes they are exactly what everyone is thinking, but nobody wants to be the first person to say.
“Unquoted” is our version of that.
And because we make tees, it became:
UNQUOTEED.
Not a quote.
Not a lecture.
Just something that feels like it came straight from your brain, your camera roll, your Pinterest board, or the group chat you should probably never leak.
NOT JUST A T-SHIRT.
A LOW-KEY WAY TO SAY SOMETHING.
You know how a song on your Instagram profile can explain your mood better than a paragraph ever could?
That is how we think about clothing.
A tee can be a joke.
A memory.
A mood.
A flex.
A statement.
Or just a way of letting people know exactly where your head is at without explaining anything.

No strict age limit. No “right” kind of person. No pretending to be someone else.

We are not here to flood the world with random prints.
